It’s sad the society was interrupted and displaced by the period of Colonialism. It would be wonderful to see the culture if only it had been left untouched.
I do think polygamy is considered as subjugation by so many of the worlds cultures of today. From your writing, I do not get the sense that women minded “sharing their man” and not receiving what for many desire as loyalty. Very interesting. I would love to hear you share more of those thoughts.
